This spacious, light-filled unit was completely renovated. Steps away from the many shops and restaurants that make up bustling downtown Bar Harbor, it is surprisingly quiet and private. Off-street parking and a barn where bikes and outdoor equipment can be stored are added pluses to this terrific property. First floor: large eat-in kitchen, living room with propane fireplace, 1/2 bath and laundry. Second floor: three bedrooms and bath with large tile shower and double sinks. Original pine floors have been restored. Skylights maximize light and enhance great use of color. Although this is a multi-unit building, the two dwelling units are well-insulated and separated by empty space to maintain quiet and privacy. A quick walk across the Village Green accesses the Island Explorer shuttle system for quick transportation into the Park and other island villages.

Available monthly Dec-April at $1500/mo plus utils.

Weekly Saturday-Saturday bookings preferred. No smoking. No pets. Linens & towels provided.

PERFECT!!

Believe me when I say this is the ONLY place to stay in Bar Harbor! We were there for two weeks recently. It was absolutely PERFECT! It has been recently remodeled and is completely updated. It is within walking distance to everything in Bar Harbor. It is isolated from the main traffic and is very peaceful. The owner, Ann, was WONDERFUL beyond belief. Extremely accommodating and so friendly. She had expanded cable installed on the TV so we could watch the college bowl games and championship. She had a beautiful welcome basket waiting for us with wine, crackers, cheese, coffee, fruit and cookies, plus milk and orange juice in the refrigerator. I cannot gush enough about how much we loved this place and the owner! I wish I could rate it more than 5 stars. Really, seriously, trust me - you want to stay here! We certainly will if/when we return to Bar Harbor. Susan C - (Dec 2016)
