Well-appointed and relaxing, this hideaway features more than 150 feet of unspoiled oceanfront beach and a large, grassy waterside yard. Fantastic sunsets are common and there are views of Blue Hill and Acadia. Fox Run is a spacious, comfortable 3-story cottage perfect for family gatherings or groups to meet and play by the ocean. Sun-filled, with many large oceanview windows, this is the ultimate getaway.
 
Enter through the foyer on the first floor, to a sunny living area and views of the water. There is a stone patio with furnishings, overlooking the pristine beach -- less than 75 feet from your cottage to the unspoiled maine coast. Also on this floor find a queen bedroom with water views. Full bath with shower.
 
Up the stairs to the second floor is the main living quarters of this spacious home with hardwood floors throughout. Centrally located is the formal living room, with water views and access to a small, furnished balcony. A granite-clad, galley-style kitchen with large island provides seating for 2-3, and overlooks the dining area with seating for 6-8 and water views. Off one hall is the master bedroom with king bed and full bath with shower and TV. Along the opposite hall is a full bath with shower, and another queen bedroom with water views. Also on this floor is an office area.
 
The top (3rd) level is a sunlit space set with twin beds, a TV area with sofa, and a separate full bath with shower.
 
The kitchen appliances include a microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, blender, and nearly everything you'll need for a comfortable week in this oceanfront rental. Other amenities include Cable TV, large screen TVs, DVD player, stereo with iPod adaptor, gas BBQ, washer/dryer, and high-speed wireless internet throughout the house.
 
It's located about 6 miles to the bridge onto Mount Desert Island, the Bar Harbor town line and the Thompson Island information center for Acadia National Park.
