This is a classic saltwater cottage on tidal Goose Cove with great sunsets and lots of space to relax in privacy. Comfortable and cozy, you are visiting a real Maine Coast fisherman's cottage changed only to allow for some modern amenities like cable TV and Wifi. Not far from the villages of Southwest Harbor and Bass Harbor and the Bass Harbor Lighthouse, the Wonderland/Seawall area of Acadia National Park. First floor has the period kitchen, cozy living room, large sun porch with dining furniture, bedroom & shower bath, and laundry room; second floor holds 2 small bedrooms and full bath. Not a cookie-cutter motel, a genuine Down East cape on a protected cove, with use of a canoe (with liability waiver). This is a place families make memories.
 
Monthly bookings preferred. Weekly bookings sometimes available in June, Aug & Sept. Full month required in July
