Hannah's House - in Bar Harbor, close to Acadia NP, & POOL!

Great place to stay in Bar Harbor

We stayed here with Friends during the Labor Day week. Overall, this was a great place to stay because: 1) The location was fantastic for easily getting around the island for all the hiking we wanted to do and for the ease of walking downtown, which for a busy Labor Day weekend was very nice since parking was essentially non-existent. 2) The open layout of kitchen/dining room/living room was great for cooking, while hanging out with friends and watching our children all at the same time. 3) It made our vacation feel more homey. We could have gotten a hotel for the week but having a whole house made the vacation all the more enjoyable. 4) We only had one issue trying to figure out the wifi password and the rental manager was quick to respond and very helpful. Thanks! I'd say the only negatives, and these are not really a big deal so take them with a grain of salt, was that we had to buy things toilet paper, dish soap, dishwashing liquid. Enough was provided for a day or two, but we didn't read the contract close enough to see that we would have to provide for the rest of the week. No big deal, we just would have brought those things with us instead of buying them If you enjoy cooking, I would recommend bringing your own chef's and paring knives as the ones provided were pretty stripped of all cutting power. But yes, great place!!
