Custom designed Timberframe home designed and built by the owner. It is off the beaten path but near everything, located on 3 acres of land and sits among beautiful oak trees with great sunlight all day long. This Post and Beam home was built in the Shaker tradition from wood that was harvested from the land it sits on, with hand cut joinery and pegs. There is also a custom formed pine countertop that was made from a 5 foot diameter tree that blew down in Northern Maine.
 
This modern home has 3 bedrooms (1 king, 1 queens, 1 double) with the Master Bedroom in an partially-open loft overlooking the Living Room. The Master Bath also features a two person spa tub to relax in after those long hikes. The large deck is great for sunbathing and outdoor entertaining.
 
Norway Drive is less than 10 minutes to downtown Bar Harbor, and less than 10 minutes to the main entrance for the Acadia National Park Loop Road.
 
Quiet surroundings, but close to everything, including Southwest Harbor, Northeast Harbor, Long Pond, Echo Lake Beach, Hulls Cove Beach and of course Acadia National Park. Enjoy your close proximity to Acadia National Park's hiking trails, lakes, carriage roads, and rocky coastline.
