We loved our stay at Kelly Cottage. It was the perfect location to explore all of Acadia. Beds were super comfortable. Fully stocked kitchen. Easy check in and out. We loved all the Acadia Books, and referenced them a lot during our stay. We would definitely want to stay here again if we return to Acadia. - (Aug 2023 - ABNB)

We loved the quiet, private location

Two adults and two kids age 8 and 11 - Kelley Grove was just what we needed! We loved the quiet, private location, the convenience to Bar Harbor and ANP, and our kids really enjoyed the play stuff in their room. Instructions were clear and easy to follow, and we didn't have a single issue during our stay. We hope to return! - (Jul 2023 - ABNB)

This might be the best location at which we stayed in Acadia!

The cottage is very private and backs to the preserved forest which can also be explored on one of those days when you just want to quit driving and hiking around Acadia, and just relax at your base. "The base" has everything needed for great relaxing times - clean cozy space, lots of books and magazines everywhere, a deck to sunbathe, read, paint, while listening to the sounds of the forest. There is a grill on a deck too, but we didn't have time to use it. The upstairs yellow bedroom is my favorite, one can do some birdwatching, right through its window - there are many birds visiting the nearby trees every morning. The kitchen has all the necessities; My daughters liked that the freezer has an ice maker, and that their room upstairs had a very cozy reading chair, that there was a nice extra blanket in the closet, to get under, while reading by the window on a chilly evening, and, of course, they liked that they can just go out the door and explore the woods - right there - while the parents are busy with something in the house - it gave them the feeling of freedom and took some stress off our shoulders )) The bathrooms are nice, very clean and have closets full of fluffy towels, all in different pleasant colors - it was easy to tell apart whose towel is whose - a small detail, but I liked that. We ended up sharing the downstairs shower between the four of us, while the upstairs bathroom was used just as a toilet, because only the downstairs shower had a hand-held shower head, which none of us can live without )) But it was only a minor inconvenience, especially when you consider that finding a rental in Acadia that has two bathrooms is nearly impossible. We were grateful for what we had, and we had everything that we need to have great time in Acadia. Even the fact that my husband broke his Radius bone, falling off the bike, couldn't spoil our vacation! There were extra pillows in his bedroom's closet, to prep him in bed, protecting his arm, we really appreciated that. Our family decided that, from now on, the Kelly Grove Cottage would be our usual place to stay when we go to Acadia (hopefully - next summer!), everybody adored it! - (Aug 2021)

I would definitely recommend this home.

Perfect location, with easy access to Bar Harbor, Acadia, and the quiet side of the island. The cottage is quiet and well-appointed. Our family of four was very comfortable here, and I would definitely recommend this home. - (Sep 2020 - ABNB)

Beautiful cottage tucked away in the woods of Acadia

Me and my family of four stayed at this house for a week, and it suited our needs perfectly. We loved the secluded feel of the house, yet close enough to everything on the island that we wanted to do. The appliances in the kitchen were up to date, the beds were very comfy, and the owners left us with little supplies that we would have otherwise had to buy at the grocery store, like: garbage bags, sandwich bags, cooking oils and seasonings, hand soap, laundry detergent, etc. We also thoroughly enjoyed the deck attached to the living room! 
 
The only cons to this stay was the $100 fee I had to pay to VRBO after I booked my stay. We also wished there was air conditioning a few times when it got to 80 degrees outside. It can get quite toasty inside, but it can be managed if you keep the windows open at night and close them in the morning.  
 
Otherwise, we had an amazing vacation and will return ASAP! :)

very nice home, great location, clean and comfortable. We would stay there again.

We had a great week staying at Kelley Grove Cottage. We would happily stay there again in the future. The master bedroom and living area were great! The only drawback is that the other bedrooms have smaller beds (2 twins in one room, a full size in another). Fortunately we only had kids staying with us. Had we been with other adults, the beds would have been too small. But this is a top notch place for families.

Outstanding!

Convenient to Bar Harbor and Acadia. Outstanding kitchen facilities.Great internet. Clean and comfortable. Highly recommend.
