The rental was very nice and in a quiet area yet close to town

The game room was a plus and the kids enjoyed it. The A/C units in each room was a plus, The agents were easy to get in touch with and responded in a timely manner and tried their best to fix any issues - (Sep 2020 - ABNB)

We enjoyed the stay in this home.

Our family of 12, including adults and kids had a great week in Bar Harbor. We enjoyed the short drive into Acadia National Park-very convenient. The yard was a great place to play for our grandchildren. The kitchen was ideal for preparing meals and made it possible to "eat in" a couple of meals a day.

This property was all we could have asked for.

There was more than enough space for everyone in the family and the location was excellent too! We enjoyed using the basketball net and walking into town. It was so close to Acadia, too! A great time was had by all.

The historic Vanderbilt Lodge is of rustic elegance!

The outdoor living space and kitchen were wonderful to use as we had all that we needed to cook large family style meals and thoroughly enjoy. The location was perfect - close enough to walk into town yet far enough to be away from the noise. Less than 5 minutes to Sand Beach or Cadillac Mountain. We brought our own bicycles and road through Acadia every.single.day! Our hosts were courteous and responsive. I would recommend the Eden Farmer's Market on Sunday morning while you're there - supporting the local farmers and fresh produce, meats and pasta were a true delight! - (Aug 2019 - ABNB)

A wonderful jumping off place with accommodations for everyone!

We were 4 couples enjoying this wonderful home. There was so much space, we each had all the privacy we needed plus great gathering spaces. The kitchen/dining area was our go to spot. We enjoyed the wildlife and the coziness of the home. Only thing missing was the fire pit pictured. We would definitely rent here again!

This home has everything!

Absolutely beautiful home! What a fun place to stay. We were very impressed with all the amenities! The location is great - close to town yet private. We were at 3 couples so we each had a bedroom and each couple had a full bath. After a day of fun in town or at the park we could come back to a relaxing night playing cards.

Five Stars -- Fabulous vacation and the house was a large part of it.  
 
Where do I start? Large house for our intergenerational family reunion. Several gathering areas for different age groups to relax and play. Games and recreation room had something for everyone with plenty of space to stretch out. Extremely well equipped kitchen was a true chef's dream. Secluded, quiet location with an easy walk to town for teenagers and adults alike. Fabulous library with books that appealed to many tastes. And best of all, our house manager was always available and so very helpful. We have used vacation rental agents for years and can honestly say that this was by far our best experience. Don't change a thing.

Great house for a large family vacation

This house was perfect from start to finish. Great location, quiet and secluded, yet only a short walk from Bar Harbor. A huge kitchen with plenty of table space and chairs so our large Lastly, the downstairs rec room never got a break since the kids were in it all the time!!! I would highly recommend this vacation spot!!

Perfect place for large family/group

We stayed at Strawberry Villa in June 2017. We were a group of 7 adults and 2 kids. The house was the perfect size to accommodate all of us where we didn't feel like we were on top of one another. We all loved the game room downstairs for nights we spent in. We enjoyed shooting some hoops out front with the basketball too. It was so peaceful and quiet - a nice, relaxing vacation, and we saw deer almost every day. Location was great! It was a nice (mile) walk from the house to the downtown area and probably about the same (cannot recall now) to get to the Schooner Head Path where we did some running. We were just a short drive from Acadia National Park.

Perfect spot for our family reunion.

Pinewoods Villa was the perfect spot to spend a week with our children and grandchildren. There was plenty of space to spread out and the downstairs gave us lots of options to talk, play dominoes and eat together. The upstairs also provided a secluded spot for those who had to get some work done while on vacation. And the children could sleep quietly while the adults socialized downstairs. The location was also perfect with easy access to both sides of the island. So glad we found this beautiful hideaway.

loved the house

We loved the location and the house. Everything was provided even the cooking oil and cling wrap and the clothes detergent. This was very different from our stays in condos when we had to bring everything. The only problem we had was with trash. There were 6 adults and 2 children so we had a lot of trash and the outside cans were not big enough.
