This home is fantastic-spacious and well appointed with the amenities you'll need. 
Unlike other rentals I've had in the past, there are plenty of fluffy towels, blankets, bath mats etc. Most importantly to me, the house was sparklingly clean. (Big kudos to the cleaning team) 
Initially we were worried that the location might have been too far removed but was an easy drive and several family members even biked to town on a couple occasions. Also, a small grocery store was very near by which was handy. We would definitely stay here again. - (Aug 2021 - ABNB)

Our family of 10 (3 kids, 7 adults) enjoyed our stay immensely. The house was very spacious with plenty of comfy and cozy spaces for us all to hang out! The kitchen was well stocked-we all cooked together almost every night of our stay. If we needed anything, the hosts were easy to contact and quick to respond! The location was PERFECT for daily trips to Acadia National Park for hikes and visits to Bar Harbor. There were delicious lobster/sandwiches/seafood shacks within minutes of the house. The house layout is really lovely and welcoming to a large group. It's nicely furnished, the kitchen is well stocked in terms of cooking utensils. Make sure to bring your own spices and olive oil etc. everything was well taken care of and the location was perfect. It was just my husband, myself and my two and a half year old but it was clear that the house would be terrific for a large group. We plan on returning with another family or our parents.Acadia cottage Rentals was exactly what we were looking for: clean, spacious, secluded, convenient to all points on Mt Dessert. The hosts were incredibly thoughtful by providing a booklet of suggestions on hikes and places to eat. We were incredibly happy with our stay and look forward to coming back! - (Sep 2020 - ABNB)

We would definitely rent this house again!

The pictures do not do this place justice - it is a beautiful home in the perfect location. The house is large, with plenty of room for everyone to spread out (we had four adults and three kids in our party). It is located in a wooded area, allowing for lots of privacy. Most importantly to us, the house was in an ideal location for trips to Bar Harbor (no more than a 15 minute drive) or Acadia National Park (less than 15 minutes to Hulls Cove Visitor Center). Great House

This rental is great. Family of 7 adults, one child. Lots of room inside (6 bedrooms, nice great room and kitchen) and great deck and lawn outside. Well maintained. Just outside of town with great privacy but easy walk to town. Trouble with garbage disposal which was fixed same day on holiday weekend.

Perfect spot for our family reunion.

Pinewoods Villa was the perfect spot to spend a week with our children and grandchildren. There was plenty of space to spread out and the downstairs gave us lots of options to talk, play dominoes and eat together. The upstairs also provided a secluded spot for those who had to get some work done while on vacation. And the children could sleep quietly while the adults socialized downstairs. The location was also perfect with easy access to both sides of the island. So glad we found this beautiful hideaway.
