Definitely recommended.
The place was clean and had everything we needed for our vacation. It was a great place to stay and enjoy Acadia National Park. - (May 2018)

This was a great spot for our family. Amanda was very responsive and accommodating.
The location was great, and the property met all of our needs at a good price. Would definitely stay here again. Our 3-year old daughter keeps asking us when we're going back to our "Acadia Cabin". One thing to note is that the master bedroom does not have a closing door. This was okay for us because our daughter stayed in the second bedroom and never really came out once we put her in. Just something to be aware of. - (Mar 2018)

Amanda's home was perfect
The only bad thing about this trip was that it had to end. Amanda's home was perfect - beautiful, clean, well-equipped, and so comfortable. Loved the decor, having the laundry so convenient, and the incredibly comfortable bed. It was centrally located and an easy drive to Acadia and other spots on the island (and on the mainland) - but quieter and more peaceful than places in Bar Harbor. I should have stayed longer...next year, I'd love to stay for two weeks. Thank you for such a wonderful visit! - (Sep 2017)

This house was conveniently located...
...and had everything that our family needed during our stay. It is very quiet and nestled back from the road. There is an amazing hike a short drive away to the summit of Flying Mountain that we all enjoyed very much. - (Aug 2017)

We really enjoyed our stay.
My family really enjoyed our stay at Amanda's cottage. It was nicely decorated and very neat and tidy. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and utensils when we made our meals. We picked up fresh lobster to cook at the house on a side street in the downtown area from a local fisherman. Nice little backyard with pretty flower gardens to have a fire and smores. Amanda allowed our dog to stay which we really appreciated. It's a nice location near downtown southwest harbor which is a cute little downtown. Some great places to eat like the Common Good restaurant that serves popovers and all proceeds go to help folks who need help in the community. A great little pie shop on the Main Street makes amazing pies known as island bound treats. On Friday's there is a nice little farmers market. Great town to hike, rent bikes and guided kayak tours to learn more about the island. - (Jul 2017)
