Spectacular oceanfront setting with 3 BR 2 BA main house & 1 BR 1 BA guest cottage. Both are designed in the contemporary style, with custom cherry decor and furniture. A lot of windows, glass doors, bright and open spaces inside the house. Quiet, serene and private outdoor spaces. You most likely will be alone at the beach. We share the whole sea cove with only one neighboring house.
 
It is a pure paradise if you want to live on the beach on your own and within minutes of driving to Mt. Desert Island, Acadia National Park & Bar Harbor. The property offers everything your family needs for a quintessential New England vacation. With 200 feet of sea shore front, there is plenty of space right near the water - about 1 acre of landscapped lawn areas, an amazing gravel/pebble beach, fire pit amphitheater, fantastic stone patio for outside dining, beautiful evergreen botanical garden with a large collection of native and unusual plantings. The main house is situated just 50 feet from the water and the sound of the waves will caress your ears throughout your vacation.
 
Families of up to 9 are welcome. Views of the bay and all major Acadia's mountains from both the outdoor deck and living room, with floor-to-ceiling windows/sliding doors. An open floor plan allows for family gatherings. Equipped with a fully furnished, gourmet open kitchen, grand dining and family room to entertain, as well as plenty of spaces to curl up with a good book, this contemporary style house has everything you could want.
 
The attached guest house includes additional bedroom (king bed and a queen sleeper sofa), living room area, shower bathroom and a kitchenette with microwave and toaster). The guest house is connected to the main house by a gorgeous stone path through the gardens.
 
Local attractions such as Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor village, restaurants and shops are just 15-25 minutes away by car. Many books & games are provided. We do not have cable or Sat TV on purpose, but you may use a DVD player or USB or HDMI cables for watching movies. TV is WiFi connected so you can stream your own Netfix, Hulu and other services. WiFi works inside the main house and outside.Linens and towels are provided. Just bring your personal items and sunscreen! Use any equipment at your own risk and care. Please always have a bucket of water when you make an open fire and do it in the fire pit at the amphitheater only.
