Had a fantastic time at the Hathaway Cottage. We felt right at home, it was clean and comfortable, beautiful area and so much to do. The location of the house could not have been better.

We had a great week in Bar Harbor. The location of the house could not have been better. We could and did walk to shops, great food, drinks. Easy to get to the village green for the bus to Acadia. House had plenty of room for everyone in our party. After a morning hike or a visit to Sand Beach, the deck was a great place to relax with a book or watch the activity going by. Our enthusiasm for the house is obvious

We have stayed at Hathaway Cottage for nine of the last eleven years, so our enthusiasm for the house is obvious. It feels like our second home, and we love the location. Dan is a wonderful, attentive landlord whose wife makes the best blueberry pancakes on MDI at CTW! As we age and deal with serious health problems, we know our Maine getaways are numbered, but we were especially thrilled to squeeze in a week this year. You both make it all seamless and easy. It was perfect!

The house is just beautiful and the location is excellent. There is very little traffic on the street but it's located less than a block away from restaurants and shops. We would love to stay there again when we visit in the future. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay.

Fabulous home in the middle of town

The home was clean, sun-filled, and perfectly sized for our family of four. We slept soundly in comfortable beds and admired the homes structure and decor. The location was ideal for a family of teens. We trekked into Acadia each day and enjoyed cooking in or walking to dinner each evening. Family members could head out to shop, listen to live music, or find coffee or ice cream solo which was fantastic as we don't keep the same schedules!

Great Place

Perfect location! Right in town walking distance from everything. Short car or bike ride to Acadia National Forest. The house was clean and well kept. Nice outdoor patio and grill. Enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again!

Fabulous place to call home for a week!

Hathaway Cottage is a superb rental. It is conveniently located to the harbor, restaurants and stores. The accomodations are first class. You can relax on the balcony, enjoying the view of Frenchman's Bay and the activities on the street. Occasionally, horse drawn carriages would pass by. The house itself is comfortable and well equipped. We will schedule future visits around the availability of this wonderful home!
