This cottage was fantastic! A 20 minute or less drive to Bar Harbor and Acadia was perfect! The sunsets were gorgeous! I would definitely book again! The property is gorgeous! It was spotless when we got there and hopefully when we left. - (Jul 2022 - ABNB)

Charming cottage in a peaceful setting with a beautiful view

The cabin reminded me of the lake cabins where I grew up in Minnesota. Even though we had heavy fog most mornings and evenings during our stay, we enjoyed the beautiful views of the bay from picture windows. The cabin was clean and well-appointed and we had everything we needed for our stay. The property has been in the Smith family for several generations and it was interesting to see the photos of the family through the years. We spent the days sightseeing and the cabin is conveniently located to Bar Harbor, Acadia, Schoodic, and other areas making for easy day trips. The people at Acadia Cottage Rentals were easy to work with and had left us a nice welcome package of good area maps and brochures, as well as a wonderful jar of Maine wild blueberry jam! We hated to leave the little cottage and would definitely come back again some time! Thank you!
