This comfortable, rustic home was built to resemble a New England Barn and boasts a spacious living/dining room with cathedral ceiling, granite fireplace, and sliding glass door that open onto a 400 sq.ft. deck where there is comfortable seating to enjoy the panoramic view of Blue Hill Bay any time of day.   The spectacular sunsets will probably will take your breath away.  Lounging on the oceanfront deck on a breezy afternoon, you'll feel like you are on a very stable, very comfortable boat!   A fully equipped kitchen, laundry room, master bedroom with queen size bed and newly renovated bath/shower complete the first floor
 
The loft area on the second floor contains a bedroom with a queen size bed, bedroom/sitting area combination with a twin bed and a bath with shower.

And you're not far from all the other points of interest on our island, including towns of Bar Harbor, Southwest Harbor with some of our favorite restaurants are within easy reach of this attractive home, not to mention many attractions in Acadia National Park, including Ship's Harbor, Wonderland, and Echo Lake freshwater swimming.

Saturday to Saturday bookings.  No pets.  No smoking.  
 
Available for winter weekly rentals----call for details.
Rates include the cost of normal departure cleaning.  Excess cleaning deducted from security deposit.
 
All houses are fully equipped, including linens and dishes. No pets, no smoking anywhere on this property.
Refundable security deposit, 9% Maine State Sales Tax and a $25 nonrefundable booking fee are not included in the rental rates shown.
