Thank you for a wonderful stay. We had a great time.

The house was in a wonderful location, close to all the main attractions. We recommend checking out the boat rental next door and Beech Hill Farms for produce and fresh bread. The house itself is spacious and had the best stocked kitchen I've encountered on Airbnb. The kitchen and bathrooms are designed well and made our stay that much better. We also appreciated the two laundry rooms that helped all 6 of us keep up with our laundry. The double bedroom on the third floor has incredible views of the lake and the rest of the bedrooms were spacious. It is a solid 9 in its current state. Perfect place for a family get together!

We stayed in this home for the week of our son's wedding, and had his fiance's parents stay with us as well. It Has plenty of room for people to have their own space as well as having large common areas for everyone to be together. Matt stopped in several times to see if we needed anything. It was also wonderful to be able to bring our dog with us. Swimming in the lake in September was an unexpected treat; never thought the water would be warm enough in September! We rented kayaks several times and toured the lake. It is a great spot to use as a base to explore Acadia, and we did several local hikes in addition to those in Acadia. Highly recommend this house! Beautiful, spacious and upgraded house!

Neat, spacious, facing the lake! Beautiful house! You even get discount on renting the boats and canoes, because the owner own the renting place next door! We had a good time, house is big enough to fit everybody's needs! Amber G - (Sep 2017)

Lovely Long Pond Home!

Everything that had been said in reference to this home on the website was true! It is a lovely very well kept and well equipped home. Our party consisted of 8 adults and 3 children under the age of three; we had adequate space to sleep, eat, play and relax. The location was convenient to Acadia National Park and all that Mt. Desert Island has to offer. It was lovely to have Long Pond right across the street and the kayak and canoe rental right next door. We kayaked, canoed and swam. Great location by the lake.

House is well kept and spacious. Kitchen was well stocked for our cooking needs. Location across from lake with swimming and boating launch made for great afternoons when done in the national park. Thanks for letting us stay. Michael T - (Aug 2017)

Great location!

We would highly recommend this property. We stayed with three families (10 people) and there was plenty of space for everyone. The open floor plan was great for gathering with the family in the evenings and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything you would need to cook. The best part was the proximity to Long Pond. Each morning we were there it was extremely calm and perfect for kayaking. The location is also nice since it is away from the heavy traffic in Bar Harbor. Nothing is more than 20 minutes away. There is easy access to nearby carriage roads, Echo Lake Beach and the park loop. It was also nice that we could bring our golden retriever. There was a small backyard for him to go out in the morning and plenty of areas to walk him. Holly O - (Jul 2017)
