Harbor Breeze A - downstairs duplex in the village of Bar Harbor

We found this to be the best place we have stayed on Mt Desert. Had everything we needed and was a really GREAT location: close to the sandbar to bar island, local shops & restaurants, easy to get out of town and to the Loop Road. The host was very responsive and helpful. Only issue we had at all was in parking in our designated spot in the driveway, as the other renter (upstairs) and the people renting the house next door did not always park correctly. The place was larger than we thought from the photos. It had everything we needed. Plenty for the kids to do there. If I had to be pickier I would say the queen bed was a tight fit by the wall hard to go around and bring your own seasonings if cooking. Otherwise great location walk down the street to land bridge and getting around bar harbor and local grocery store within min was a huge plus. This was a perfect place for our visit to Bar Harbor and Acadia Park. The location of the apartment was outstanding, we could walk easily to all areas in Bar Harbor. The grocery was just up the street and access to the Island Explorer to go to multiple destinations around the park was within walking distance, including Bar Island that was at the end of the street. We'd give 100 stars if we could! Our family of 3 had a wonderful week here. It is truly right in the village - just step outside and you're in Bar Harbor. It was so convenient to have a dedicated parking spot and we were in Acadia in minutes. The hosts are very responsive and helpful and clearly care about making sure their guests have a seamless experience. We have nothing but great things to say. Overall, we were quite pleased with the rental and location.

Overall, we were quite pleased with the rental and location. Very close to attractions, supermarket, bars, restaurants, etc. The house was clean and looked like the pictures. Only comment i can think of, is the bushes were overgrown in the parking spots, but still managed to park off street.
