Great space on a quiet street

Great space on a quiet street. Lots of places to sit for a single bedroom rental. Older home, but updated and clean! Front porch chairs were great for morning coffee and a comfy bed. Kitchen is big enough to create complex meals. Bathroom absolutely spotless with NO smells. This first floor was perfect for me.

This first floor was perfect for me. With prices rising up with the popularity of this vacation town, it's challenging to find something reasonably priced. I travel alone and don't need a lot of space. It was very clean and I had plenty of space. Being a 10 minute walk from the 'heart' of Bar Harbor is really nice. The Mount Desert Bakery around the corner has some of the BEST fresh baked pastries, breakfast sandwiches and coffee. I had questions about parking and they were answered fast, and they were kind enough to have signs printed up to make it clear. I'd stay here again if/when I return! - (Oct 2023 - ABNB)

We would definitely stay here again. Host lives next door and was very friendly with suggestions on which restaurants to go to. House is bigger than it looks in the pictures. Lots of space to relax. This is a great place to stay. Close to downtown and Acadia Park. We were able to walk to Downtown. The place is very quaint and very clean. We appreciated being able to park our car in the driveway. It is quite too. The Host is friendly and accessible. I appreciated the extra touches like tissue, detergent, paper towels and hand soap in the BR and kitchen. The house was very clean and convenient; they provided just the right amount of necessities to cook if you wanted to too. The place was perfect! AC in the bedroom was much appreciated. It had everything we needed and more. The location was great! A nice quiet street close to downtown so you could walk around there and very close to Acadia. My only suggestion would be to put a shower curtain liner in. What a truly special place.

First vacation as a family of 3 with our 9 month old daughter. What a truly special place. The location is incredible, as we walked 5-10 mins to restaurants, breweries and parks. We really enjoyed our stay. Don't judge this Airbnb by the photos. It is the entire, spacious first floor of a nicely renovated house within easy walking distance of all Bar Harbor has to offer. Each day when we finished exploring the park, we left the car parked in the driveway and walked to a different restaurant or fun location. It has great Wi-Fi, Direct TV and a well-equipped kitchen. Perfect little cottage

Perfect little cottage on a quiet residential side street about 10 minute easy walk to Main Street in Bar Harbor. This home is bigger than appears in pictures and very comfortable. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook in any meals. Very clean and organized. Air conditioner works great. Back deck with Adirondack chairs and yard a major plus! The house is charming,

You can't find a better location that 8 Myrtle Ave. We were just a few minutes away from some of the most beautiful trailheads in Acadia! Every minute counts when you're trying to make it to a 4:55am sunrise on top of Cadillac Mountain! The house is also walking distance to downtown Bar Harbor, bike rentals, some amazing restaurants, Bar Island and the beautiful Shore Path. We had some of the best seafood of our lives! The house is charming, the bed was so comfy and we had everything we needed including a huge bonus - washer/dryer. We couldn't have found a better spot in Bar Harbor, and we sincerely hope to make another trip back some day! - (May 2022 - ABNB)

So nice to have such a comfortable central home base.

Super easy check-in, lovely space equipped with kitchen appliances and utensils so that we were comfortable for a week's stay. The location is great for day trips to Acadia and to explore Bar Harbor. The rooms are good and don't feel cramped, and the bed is quite firm. We enjoyed our day spent in the living room during a day too rainy to hike. Would highly recommend! - (Sep 2021 - ABNB)
