We enjoyed our stay at Catbird Cottage.

We enjoyed our stay at Catbird Cottage. It is a lovely home. Walking to the beach to skip stones was fun and relaxing to do. Acadia National Park is beautiful and we drove to the summit, hiked around Jordan Pond and went to Sand Beach for stargazing. We also had a fun boat tour around the islands plus walked the land bridge to Bar Island at low tide. Beautiful area! - (Sep 2023 - ABNB)

The house was very comfortable for 4 adults.

Catbird Cabin is in a very quiet location, just a 2 minute walk to Frenchman's bay, and a 5-7 minute drive to the entrance to Acadia, 10 minutes or so to downtown Bar Harbor. Check in was smooth. The house is very well stocked with all kinds of supplies, and the kitchen appliances are brand new. It is also well outfitted with things needed in the kitchen--pots, pans, utensils, etc. The washer/dryer are new as well. The king and queen mattresses are very comfortable. The enclosed porch on the front of the house, and new trex deck on the back are great for relaxing. The house was very comfortable for 4 adults. The upstairs master bath does have a claw foot tub with a shower curtain, but due to how slippery the bottom was, we did not feel safe using that shower, so everyone ended up using the shower in the 2nd bath off the kitchen. Overall, we had a great week at Catbird Cabin, and would recommend it for families visiting Acadia. - (Aug 2022 - ABNB)

This was a pleasant place to rest after hiking in Acadia National Park. We enjoyed reading on the breezy screened front porch and making popovers in the kitchen. Perfect size cottage for five people spending time together with enough space for privacy also. Great vacation with young adult children. 
Pleasant place to rest after hiking. Well stocked kitchen was much appreciated. The Acadia magazine was very helpful in choosing our hikes. Dining room table perfect size for playing the board games we brought. - (Aug 2022 - ABNB)

Very nice, spacious, clean, comfortable cottage.

Very nice, spacious, clean, comfortable cottage. Lovely to have the access to the small beach with beautiful views. It is also nicely located, so you can easily get to Bar Harbor and to Acadia National Park. 
We very much enjoyed our stay. The kitchen is very functional and a good size. It was great to have the access to the beach. The cottage is spacious and well laid out. - (Sep 2021 - ABNB)
