We cannot imagine a better place to stay when visiting Acadia!

We cannot imagine a better place to stay when visiting Acadia! The apartment is spotless and every detail and convenience was thought of and supplied. We enjoyed watching the sun come up every morning from the deck and listening to the owls and saw some deer from up there too. The kitchen has everything you need to cook your meals, if you like. We cooked breakfast each day. The owner is just the best! And we have always had great experiences with owners. He was just so kind and helpful. We had lots of questions about the area and the home he built and he was patient and generous and kind. It was hard to find the place but that was not his fault- there just happened to be a glitch on the app. The agent, Acadia Cottage Rentals, put the correct address in a message to us, but the address information on the "Trip" portion of the app was incorrect. It was a minor inconvenience that I'm sure will be corrected soon. It did not spoil this wonderful getaway! - (Nov 2023 - ABNB)

I can't say enough WONDERFUL things about our stay at Highview. The views are breathtaking and the apartment is beautifully decorated, clean and had everything we needed. There is even a drawer with toiletries if you forgot something. The owners were great and Ken was so helpful with his knowledge of the area. There is a great sitting area for renters with a table, grill and fire pit. Ken hooked us up with a local place for fresh lobster and when we returned, he had the steamer pot outside ready for us. He even gave us a ride to and from Bar Harbor because parking is so bad. Ken went above to make sure our stay was fantastic. Highview is located 3 miles from Bar Harbor and 1 1/2 miles from the entrance to Acadia. Book this place, I promise you won't regret it. - (Oct 2023 - AvailabilityOnline)

STUNNING PROPERTY ~ SUPERSTAR OWNERS/HOSTS! Sunrise from the private deck is spectacular (you can skip Cadillac Mtn.), sunsets on the property are like a fire in the sky, the lack of light pollution = star gazing from the deck (yes!). The owners have really thought about the guest experience as they provide brand new travel sizes of personal care products in the bath, complimentary access to many streaming platforms, a washer & dryer along with detergent for guest use, plus so much more, The grounds were immaculate with an abundance of wildlife that you can watch right from the apartment (we were treated to turkeys and deer almost every day). There is a path down to a rocky beach that we had all to ourselves ~ you have to check it out-we loved it! The apartment was thoughtfully designed, is well-appointed and has high end finishes throughout. The owner [ Ken ] is extremely friendly, attentive and responds without hesitation. The view across the bay is incredible!!

This above garage apartment is new and beautifully appointed and decorated. The view across the bay is incredible!! We could have just sat on the deck all day and enjoyed the view. The owner is incredibly responsive and helpful and lives in the main house on the property. The amenities include an outdoor barbecue, and fire pit. An incredible experience overall.

Highview was amazing location. Perched atop a large hill, the views were simply amazing. Sunrise was spectacular. The apartment was meticulous, and the owner had incredible attention to details and quality. The exterior included beautiful landscaping, rock work, fire pit area, outdoor dining area. Minutes from downtown and even closer to Acadia entrance. The owners were the nicest folks and very helpful. An incredible experience overall. The property was phenomenal. Highly recommend this rental!

The place was in impeccable/new condition. Everything worked and the amenities were as described or better. The owner was extremely available and helpful and went above and beyond to give advice about the area when we asked. The owner was very gracious with the house and its facilities. The area is minutes from the Visitor's Center of Acadia National Park also very near the main town of Bar Harbor. There is a beautiful view of the bay, and the surroundings are very scenic. We could not have found a better location

The cottage was absolutely the nicest home we have stayed in - the entire cottage was very high-end, very well decorated with super comfy furnishings. We could not have found a better location as the view of the ocean was spectacular and the cottage is nestled away in a hill-top, secluded neighborhood (looked like the highest point) with beautiful trees and foliage. It is only 3 miles from the city of Bar Harbor (dining) and super close to Acadia National Park -- perfect location. The cottage has every amenity needed and a wonderful outdoor area with an extensive grill station. Ken, the host, was awesome too. He was very friendly and explained everything about the property and he has in-depth knowledge of the area and of Maine. He was a pleasure to talk to. The view from the big balcony is phenomenal.

Probably the nicest Airbnb I have ever stayed at. They had absolutely everything you could possibly want or need. The apartment is beautifully designed and tastefully decorated. Everything is new and super clean. The view from the big balcony is phenomenal. The location is 7-8 minutes from the bar harbor village and Acadia hiking. When I needed anything the owner was incredibly generous and responsive and accommodating. It was just me for this stay, but it would be a very comfortable and cozy place for a couple. The views are stunning

We stayed for four nights and couldn't have been happier. It was private, quite and comfortable. The views are stunning. Alan provided a comprehensive list of restaurants.
