A Cozy Little Gem in Asticou Village! We absolutely loved our stay at The Afterdeck! From the moment we walked in, it felt warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully put together. It's such a cozy and comfortable space, and the perfect home base for exploring Mount Desert Island and Acadia.The location is truly special. Being right in Asticou Village, so close to the gardens, hiking, Northeast Harbor, and all the beauty of Acadia, made it easy to slow down and really enjoy the area. We especially loved coming back after a day of exploring and having such a peaceful place to relax.The apartment was spotless, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The new AC in the bedrooms was also a wonderful touch and made the warmer days and nights especially comfortable.What we appreciated most was how much the place felt like a home rather than just a rental. You can tell that a lot of thought and care went into making it comfortable for guests.We left The Afterdeck wishing we could stay longer, and we're already looking forward to coming back. Absolutely perfect place

Absolutely perfect place for my wife and I, and our seven month old daughter. The location was great. We loved being next door to the Asticou Hotel and the Azalea Gardens. We even enjoyed taking a beautiful morning walk to Northeast Harbor. Our daughter especially loved greeting the three resident hens every day.
